Description
Our loofah sponges are organically homegrown and hand-harvested right here in Fredericktown, Ohio. Each loofah is carefully peeled, thoroughly cleaned, and sewn into durable sponges that offer excellent scrubbing power without plastic or harsh materials. Naturally tough yet gentle, they’re perfect for tackling stuck-on food and grime, especially when paired with our all-natural dish bar for a truly eco-friendly cleaning routine.
These loofah sponges are grown and harvested in small batches, so supplies are limited. Once they’re gone, they won’t be restocked until the next harvest.
Care Instructions
Designed to last, each loofah sponge can be used for up to six weeks or longer depending on frequency of use. When it needs a refresh, simply soak it in boiling hot water for up to 10 minutes, or submerge it in a 1:1 mixture of water and vinegar to naturally clean and extend its life. Keeping it out of standing water will significantly help keep it fresh longer. A simple, sustainable scrubber you can feel good about using every day.
Wet & Lather
Before scrubbing, fully wet the loofah so it becomes pliable. Add a few drops of dish soap or scrub it on our natural dish bar. Squeeze it a few times to create a light lather. Proceed to scrub dishes. When done, squeeze water from the sponge and hang to dry.
